Aluviharaya Temple Aluviharaya Temple is a very important historical place that located in Matale District. Aluviharaya Temple is a great place of worship. The main significance of this is the glorification of the Tripitaka. The  Aluviharaya Temple become world famous after the 5th Buddhist Council and the glorification of the Tripitaka for the first time in the world. The Aluviharaya is a hill behind the temple. That hill called "Serugala". There is a golden Buddha statue on the top of the hill.              So some of my university friends called to go to Aluviharaya Temple. About 12 of us participated in this trip. So we went to the temple and started the journey. We worshiped the Buddha at the temple and started climbing the mountain. It took us about one hour to reach the top of hill. On the way up we saw a beautiful environment. The road up is a bit difficult. But I did not feel that difficulty because of the shade of the surrounding trees. ...

A country I like to visit.

Image
😊 Above all I like to visit my neighbouring country. It is situated in the south of Asia. The highest is the Himalaya Mountains in the North. The river Ganges flows through a wide valley. It is supposed to be the purest river in the world also Indian river, this river as it is holy to Hindus. There are so many attractive places in India to be seen. Specially I love to see the multifarious tomb of Queen Mumtas which is built by Emperor Shahajahan as a token of love. Also I love their language and costumes too. Above all their music. As I know India's population is the second biggest of any country in the world. Three fourth of people live in villages. I too like visit remote areas of this country and to spend a few days with them to share their innocent happiness. Anyway I would choose to visit it and it would be the accomplishment of my dream. Thus, traveling in this big country would be really very interesting. I love thi s country.💓

👍 There are many things that people could do in my life. Anyone has a future goal. It is one's own responsibility to be motivated to make their dream come true. My biggest passion when I was in school was to be a music teacher. My only hope was to study music well and get a degree. I worked hard to get here. II have now achieved almost half of that dream, goal. Now studying as a first year student at the University of Aesthetics. So it's a place I respect a lot and my school helped me get to this point in my life. The teachers who taught me a lot helped me a lot when I was in school. My school did not have many facilities. But there have also been many victories in sports, aesthetics and other subject-based language competitions. The geniuses were in this. The most memorable day at school was the day I left school. Of course I was very upset. Because I can not go back to school with my friends, teachers and other lower class siblings. Below are some photos I took on the last day of my school.            School is the only place that teaches the right path in life. A place that teaches us how to live in a wonderful society. It is the only place that teaches a lot of practical things, not only just subject matter.  My favorite...

One of my favorite music instruments I learn is the tabla. Here is a brief introduction to the tabla.   The tabla is the main percussion instrument of North Indian music. The tabla was introduced in the early 13th century by the musician Amir Khushru (1253-1315), who saved in the royal court of the emperor Alauddin Khilji(1253-1325). It said to have been created from a popular product known as Pakhwaj, which was popular in India. Amir Khushru was a musician as well as a talented poet. He created the Khyal singing style. T he tabla consists of two main parts It's called Dayan and Bayang. The right part of the tabla is called the Dayan and the letters Na,Tha,Thita,Thin,Thun,Thith are played from this part of the tabla.  The left side of the table is called the Bayang. The letters Ka,Ki,Kath,Gha,Ga are deriv...
